A brief perusal of Theresa Randle‘s career to date reads almost like a who’s who of black cinema. In addition to appearing in three Spike Lee “joints” (Jungle Fever [1991], Malcolm X [1992], and Girl 6 [1996]), she’s appeared alongside Denzel Washington in Heart Condition (1990), Martin Lawrence and Will Smith in Bad Boys (1995), Bad Boys II (2003), and Bad Boys for Life (2020), Chris Rock in CB4 (1993), Wesley Snipes in Sugar Hill (1994), Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop III (1994), Michael Jordan in Space Jam (1996), and Michael Jai White in Spawn (1997). Robert Townsend directed her in perhaps her most celebrated role, that of Natalie Cole in the made-for-TV biopic Livin’ for Love: The Natalie Cole Story (2000). She didn’t start out on the dark side, though. Theresa made her screen debut in lily-white Ally Sheedy‘s flick Maid to Order (1987). Also, her skin-showing debut came in the Christopher Walken crime film King of New York (1990). But it was Mr. Spike Lee who got the most skin out of this ebony enchantress in Girl 6. This girl proved that she was way more than a 6 when she doffed her top to reveal her perfectly round mounds. Aside from providing a couple nice cleavage shots in Bad Boys II, Theresa has pretty much retired from skinema–and from cinema. She’s only appeared in seven projects over the last 17 years. However, she made her much-anticipated return to the mainstream in Bad Boys for Life. All these years later we’re still randy for Ms. Randle!
